The concessionaires ask to serve in turn

The car dealerships in Córdoba city, which last Monday were authorized by the Emergency Operations Center (COE) to sell remotely and deliver vehicles with the modality deliveryThat is, taking it to the buyer’s house, they now ask to serve the public in the sales room with a previous shift.

Since the quarantine began, the sector has sold vehicles through digital channels. The processing is done remotely, through cadetry service, and payment is made by electronic means.

When the national government authorized the return to the activity of the Automotive Property Registers three weeks ago, the sector was also able to advance with patenting. It was then that he presented to the COE a proposal to deliver the vehicles sold with the modality delivery.

But the answer came only this week, when the same agency allowed retail stores to serve the public on a limited schedule and real estate companies to work indoors and on shifts for their clients. Now, the sector requests equal treatment.

“In turns, the client comes in a remise. It is attended by a salesman, the vehicle is given to him and then the room continues without opening to the public. In Río Cuarto and Villa María, we work this way ”, explains Leandro Pagnone, director of Autocity.

For his part, Sebastián Parra, director of Parra Automotores, warns: “The sector is very advanced in the channel on line“That is why we are not asking to open the sales rooms, but rather to equate the real estate scheme, with previous shifts serving one client at a time.”

The Córdoba Automotive Chamber of Commerce (Ccac), which brings together multi-brand dealers and used businesses, also asked the COE for the same. Unlike 0 km, the buyer needs to see the unit in person before buying.

For the Ccac, the sale of vehicles has little public and requires the client to go to the salon a few times. “In this phase 4 of the quarantine, store openings were authorized and we were not included. We demand equal treatment, ”asks Ariel Ruiz, president of the Ccac.
