Spelling errors and curiosities in the photos: a collector of failed banknotes shows his treasures

Every time you go to make a purchase and they give you change, take a good look at the tickets because in your hands you can have a real treasure: many of them They have bugs that collectors look for.

Martín Abbruzzese is in charge of this, a 53-year-old man who, in a room of his house in Ituzaingó is dedicated to discover the flaws of the wallets, save them and tell your story. His collection totals more than 1000 copies that led him to write three books.

It all started at 12 years, when his dad gave him stamps to collect, but his true passion was bills. With her young age she participated in auctions and even he spent his savings to take one of the pieces.

In the room where this passion lives, the oldest banknote is kept: a copy from Japan from the year 1600. And Abbruzzese has a main sympathy for one of 1000 francs that he bought in France. “It’s a true work of art,” she said.

The man highlights that numismatics is his hobby: “I dedicate a lot of time to it and I am in communication with other collectors with whom we do exchanges. I I collect all means of payment on paper such as municipal bonds, bills, vouchers and checks”.

Of the Argentine banknotes with errors, his favorites They are one for $2 in “3D” and another for $100 with transfer of the image. All of them are stored by value in folders and in each one he was in charge of detailing the failure.

During the pandemic, she decided to show off her fabulous collection and published three books. For this, he had the collaboration of Ezequiel Richiezza, Damián Sánchez, Fernando Iuliano, Ángel Morelli and Lucho Mataloni, among others.
