They confirmed 30 new cases of coronavirus and already 158 people are infected

Another 30 cases of patients with coronavirus were confirmed in the country today and there are already 158 infected with the virus, three of whom died, according to the Ministry of Health of the Nation.

Of the total number of confirmed cases this Friday, 9 of the patients are from the province of Buenos Aires, 9 from the Federal Capital, 4 from Córdoba, 1 from Chaco, 1 from Tierra del Fuego, 1 from Entre Ríos, 1 from San Luis, 1 from Corrientes, 2 from Neuquén, and 1 from Santiago del Estero.

“At the moment, in Argentina the majority of cases are imported and local transmission is detected in conglomerates,” said the Ministry of Health headed by Ginés González García in the daily case report.

Of the 30 cases, 22 correspond to people with a history of travel to the risk area, while 4 with close contacts of confirmed cases and the remaining 4 are under investigation to determine the epidemiological history.

The total number of confirmed cases in Argentina is 158, and they are distributed in 15 provinces: Santa Cruz, Tucumán, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires province, Córdoba, Santa Fe, Entre Ríos, Salta, Jujuy, Chaco, San Luis , Río Negro, Tierra del Fuego, Corrientes and Neuquén.

Until this Thursday, there were 23 people who had been discharged and a total of 705 cases analyzed and ruled out as negative in ANLIS-Malbrán.

“The patients are complying with the isolation established by the health authorities,” said the Health portfolio headed by Minister Ginés González García.

In the world there are already 271,028 those infected by coronavirus, 11,271 the deceased and 89,874 discharged.

China is the country where this disease originated and has 81,156 patients, with 3,249 dead, but Italy has already surpassed it in cases of death, registering 4,032 out of a total of 47,021 affected.
