The Ecological Prevention Directorate of the Buenos Aires Police again disinfected the streets of the Quilmes emergency neighborhood, where 53 people were infected with coronavirus.
It is about Blue Villa, in the southern Buenos Aires suburbs, where 50 other neighbors await the test results to find out if they also became infected with the virus.
Security force medical trucks toured the streets of the emergency neighborhood on Monday, just as they had on Sunday, to try to prevent further infections.
The Buenos Aires Minister of Security himself Sergio Berni supervised the task on Sunday of those trucks when getting on one to help the ecological management personnel.
Berni also arranged the permanent presence of police in the surroundings to avoid as much as possible the entrance and exit to Villa Azul, Quilmes party, which borders Avellaneda.
The mayors of the two districts, Mayra Mendoza by Quilmes and Jorge Ferraresi by Avellaneda, they were also present in the area to monitor the Detect Plan (Strategic Testing Device for Coronavirus in Argentine Terrain).
Health authorities surveyed 813 homes and 3,128 people until Sunday, of which 53 tested positive for the coronavirus and another 50 awaited the results.
