Spain will force the use of masks on public transport as of Monday as protection against the coronavirus

Spaniards who use public transport will be required to wear a mask starting next Monday as protection against coronavirus, announced this Saturday in a television speech the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez.

Therefore, starting next Monday they will be distributed about 15 million additional masks through various channels.

In addition, Sánchez advanced that will request next Wednesday to the Congress of Deputies a new two-week extension of the state of alarm, which authorizes the Government to take exceptional measures to combat the pandemic.

“The virus has not gone away. The virus is still there”, Said the chief executive to justify this new request.
