Sheinbaum recognizes companies that donated coronavirus medical equipment in CDMX; Grupo Salinas is in the list

The Head of Government, Claudia Sheinbaum, rrecognized all the companies and institutions that donated mouth guards, fans and others medical supplies to attend the coronavirus pandemic to health personnel and residents of Mexico City.

Among them, he thanked Grupo México, Iberdrola, Grupo Modelo, Grupo Salinas, Bimbo, Home Depot, Pepsico, Formula 1, Universidad Anáhuac, Unilever, Coppel, Viajes Premier, Walmart, Grupo Gigante, Toks restaurants, among others, which donated with nothing in return.

In the round of questions, one of the reporters questioned the president about Salinas Group, since in the last weeks has stood out for being one of the companies that refuses to suspend activities despite the measures decreed by the federal health authorities.

Despite this, has provided protection support to doctors and city dwellers, mainly mouthguards for use on public transport.

“They are totally different things, that they do not comply with (the measures) and their sanction that corresponds to them and another very different thing is the altruistic work that they do of support for citizenship. We do not confuse ”, said the president.
