Of the total of 87 suspected cases, three were confirmed, 32 were discarded, 10 were invalidated for not meeting the definition of a suspected case, and 42 await laboratory results.

Meanwhile, of the 39 contacts, two were discarded by the laboratory after being in isolation, one was invalidated and 36 are currently under home isolation and follow-up.

The first case of coronavirus in the province of Buenos Aires was detected on March 6 in a 67-year-old woman who was admitted to a care center in the San Martín party.

Meanwhile, on Monday night the Buenos Aires Ministry of Health ratified the second case of coronavirus in the district, of a 53-year-old woman who had traveled to Europe.
