how the permits to circulate in the Province and City are processed

The Buenosairean government launched this Wednesday the system of permits of the Province to circulate in the middle of the measures of obligatory isolation by the coronavirus in exceptional cases, such as the assistance of older adults, people with disabilities or children, among other reasons of force majeure.

The government informed that the procedure to access the permit is carried out from the website https://permisostransito.mseg.gba.gov.ar/, where a form is completed and the permit is downloaded in PDF format.

This document is for personal and non-transferable use and has the character of an affidavit, added the Executive.

And, he stressed that the data of the person in transit, the addresses of origin and destination and the data of the person assisted should be entered in the event that the circulation order is for that reason.

The permit is valid for 24 hours from its issuance and allows the exception to Decree 297/2020 (Art. 6 Pts. 5 and 6) of social, preventive and mandatory isolation, as well as the penal regulations that punish who violates it with prison from six months to two years.

For the City of Buenos Aires, the permit can be processed on a Buenos Aires government website.

This permit does not apply to anyone, but to workers in areas that are exempt from the mandatory social isolation (quarantine) imposed by the Government.

These are workers of the greeting, those who are involved in the production of food or medicine, in addition to its supply, storage and distribution. Also those who work in public service companies (water, energy, waste collection), media, transportation and assistance to older people.
