The cold will be felt more rigorously in the high areas of Puno, Tacna, Arequipa, Apurímac and Ayacucho. Localities above 4,000 meters above sea level are the most vulnerable.

The lowest temperature in the country (-8.2 ° C) was recorded yesterday at the Chuapalca station, in the district and province of Tarata, Tacna region. Then, in Caylloma, Arequipa, it was -6.5 ° C.

Meanwhile, in the central highlands, light intensity rains are expected until Wednesday, May 10. On the coast, clouds will predominate in the early hours of the morning with a tendency to clear by noon.
