Coronavirus in Argentina: there are 1,894 infected, 79 dead and 375 recovered

The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported this Friday that There are already 375 people who were infected with coronavirus and they recovered in Argentina.

The total number of confirmed cases in the country amounts to 1894 and they register 79 dead.

Regarding the confirmed ones, 785 (41%) are imported641 (34%) correspond to close contacts of confirmed cases, 261 (14%) are cases of community circulation and the rest are under epidemiological investigation.

The Health Ministry reported that of the total number of infected cases, 45% correspond to women while 55% are men.

Since the start of the outbreak, 16,379 diagnostic tests were carried out for this disease, which is equivalent to 361 samples per million inhabitants.

The main age groups affected by the registered cases correspond to people between 20 and 59 years of age, the average age being 45 years.
